Quite Good vintage & functional condition,
VERY WELL PRESERVED ans Professionally restored -
with a good clean shine to the pen - very clean bright and very attractive
the piston filler works perfectly ( it has a new piston seal) I believe it has not been inked since the new seal was installed , the nib unit is clean and unscrews as it should -  I have not tested the pen with ink, but it should fill with ink just fine, The cap threads on & posts perfectly, The gold filled pocket clip and cap band is tight & excellent, very sturdy & very bright,
no personal engraving, the cap lip is perfect, Very pretty green pearl , good clarity on the see thru ink tank to check the ink level, the pen is 4 & 7/8" capped and a full 6 & 1/4" posted.
14K .585 gold Nib -
the only problem it the nib tip is still as found, it has a 'sweet' spot where the original owner wore a flat spot from use.  - the tip will need attention it this flat spot does not line up well for you - a very fine point...  Please expect the tip will need attention.
The nib unit does unscrew and can be easily replaced with another nib unit of the same style.
The cap top is marked "PELIKAN - DRP" twice, with a clear "Pelikan" Bird logo on the top of the cap.
