Vtg Mixed Lot of ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA WINTER CARNIVAL BUTTONS, etc. 1950-1968

Description

This is a vintage mixed lot group of 18 St. Paul, Minnesota Winter Carnival buttons, 1 pin, and 1 paper item. I am pointing to the paper piece in photo #3. I'm not sure if the paper item was a prototype version of the 1958 button insert. This group of Winter Carnival buttons/memorabilia is from the years of 1950-1968. Buttons have regular wear secondary to age, use, and storage. You will see discolorations, expected scratches, etc., to this lot. Photo #11 shows how the 1950 key-shaped pin is missing the clasp piece on the backside, so it does not close. The metal rod of the key-shaped pin is also somewhat bent. Photo #12 shows how the button to the left has the metal clasp rod elevated as seen in the photo. Photo #12 also shows a button with a hard blue substance that I am pointing to along the perimeter of its backside. The paper piece has wear and discolorations.  Please review and enlarge all photos. This large group has a nice spread of several years of St. Paul Winter Carnival buttons.
