    Description

This is a vintage Navajo turquoise and lapis necklace. The 17-inch necklace has a sterling silver clasp and a total
    weight 31.6
grams. Happy to answer any questions. All offers will be considered.
Morenci Turquoise was mined in southeastern Arizona. It is light blue to a dark sky blue in color.
Morenci has an unusual matrix of irregular black pyrite, or fool's gold; when polished, the pyrite often looks like silver. It also is sometimes webbed in a darker shade of blue, called water webbed.
There is a limited supply of Morenci Turquoise available now because the mine where it was found has been shut down since the 1970's.
International orders will incur extra shipping charges.
