Vintage 1939 "Nights of Pythias" Pendant w/40 pt. Mine Cut Diamond in 14K Gold

This is a Vintage 1939 "Nights of Pythias" Pendant with a 40 pt. Mine Cut Diamond. The outer area of this pendant is gold filled, the Triangle area with the diamond is 14K gold. It appears this was a modification and the diamond was added to the pendant back in 1939. The front is marked  "State of New York"  and the reverse is marked "presented to David Getzoff".
