For sale is a truly unique collectable from the April 29th, 2016 Houston Astros at Oakland A's game, won by the A's, 7-4.
This date was the MLB debut of Oakland's ace pitcher Sean Manaea.  This specific ball was pitched by Manaea in the top of the 5th inning to Houston utility-man Marwin Gonzalez.  This pitch was thrown in the dirt and removed from play.  Gonzalez would ground out in this at-bat.  This is clearly one of the earliest career pitched balls anyone will find of Manaea!
Authenticated balls such as this are sent mid-game to sale to the public, and are sold by the team. The authentication is input by the on-site MLB authenticators, who apply the holograms and enter the details of the play.  Authentications can be verified through the MLB.com site.  This ball carries the hologram HZ159770.  I have attached a screen shot for your review of the MLB authentication serial number search result.
