    Description

    Membership Ribbon badge from Panhandle Lodge #13 of the Knights of Pythias, Rathdrum, Idaho.  Classic late 19th Century Fraternal dual sided badge, the "back" black side for funeral wear. Sound other than the tear shown in the top layer of silk, probably due to the heavy metal drop rubbing across the material. Otherwise the ribbon is bright and clean and the printing complete. The drop is clean and damage free; the bullion at bottom shows a kink or two but is better than usually found. A very interesting and cool fraternal collectible from this small Idaho town, likely from pre-1910.  0410-06
