This pen pays tribute to the Chinese phoenix, which, according to tradition, is the empress' symbol and represents peace, beauty, and honesty. To honor this mythical creature of sun and fire, this pen is crafted from bright red resin, featuring an intricate vermeil phoenix against the matte black backdrop of the Toledo-style band. Medium (M) 18K two-tone gold nib with PF imprint.
Along with the Golden Dragon these were the first Asian-themed LE pens from Pelikan and are amongst the rarest Pelikan LEs.
This is is mint (never used, never inked) with all packaging: wooden display box, illustrated outer box, cardboard outer box, booklet; personal service card and certificate.
