    Description

    This auction is for a
    Pelikan M710 Toledo fountain pen
.  This is one of those grail pens released by Pelikan.  This particular example is from the 1992 to 1999 production run.  The W.-Germany engraving suggest that this was one of the earlier examples.  The cap band is engraved "Pelikan 925 Germany."  The nib is an 18C-750 gold nib in F width.  The nib features a "PF" stamp on the side.  The bottom of the barrel reads "925" and "B4/62 CT."  The bottom of the piston knob is engraved "Pelikan W.-Germany."
The pen is in excellent condition and very clean overall.  There is no brassing to speak of.  There are the expected micro scratches on the cap.  The piston travels smoothly along the length of the barrel.  There is no evidence of any dents, cracks, or large scratches.  The pen lacks any personalization.  Some mild loss of blackening used between the engravings noted but nothing unusual with use.  A very well cared for example overall.  Included with the pen is the original box but this shows some significant wear as depicted in the photo.
Please study the photos as they are part of the description.  Please ask any questions prior to bidding.  Shipping will be via USPS priority mail to the CONUS only.  Bid with confidence based on my 100% feedback.  The pen is being sold as-is.  Full disclosure, I have never written with it.  It came to me as part of a lot and I'm passing it along.  If there are any issues that aren't clearly described here, I will do my best to remedy the situation so please contact me if anything is not as described.
