The Mid-Autumn Festival in China provides the theme for this white resin pen built on the M1000 model.
According to an ancient legend, the Emperor of China was called upon to make a sacrifice to the moon each autumn.
This Pelikan Myth of the Moon Goddess edition represents an harmonious marriage between handcrafted German precision and the mythical enchantment of this time-honored rite.
Based on Pelikan’s largest style, the M1000, this dramatically tapered off-white pen features a vermeil band that overlays cap and barrel and is carved with Chinese motifs commemorating the important Chinese mid-August holiday, the “Night of the Moon".
The figure of the Moon Goddess floats in clouds on the barrel. Based on the Moon Festival, the "Myth of the Moon Goddess" is depicted in raised gold against a matte black field.

The fountain pen comes with all original packaging (display box, outer box, mail box, booklet, certificate, service card, foam pillow, matching plastic pouch), fully working and ready to write, piston filling.
The fountain pen measure capped 154 mm (6,06 inches)and is fitted with an original Pelikan Medium (M) 18C-750 two-tone gold nib.
The nib is wonderfully responsive with plenty of flex.
