Up for bid is a game used baseball used on June 11, 2017 at Minute Maid Park between the Angels and Astros.  This game marked the 2,000th career hit game for Japanese and MLB star, Nori Aoki.  This is a coveted honor and he immediately became a member of the Golden Players Club, or Meikyukai, one of two Japan's Baseball Hall of Fames.
This specific baseball was pitched by Astros David Paulino to Angels Danny Espinosa in the Top of the 4th Inning.  Eric Young Jr stole second base on the second pitch.   The baseball was thrown down to try and get Young.
