**Aesthetic Note:  Pattern irregularities--including variable widths, curvature, inclusions, and the binde seam--are a normal quality of the celluloid barrel.  These should not be considered defects but part of the Souveran's handcrafted charm.  No two pens are ever alike!

e Pelikan Souveran M405 Silver-White Fountain Pen
features a silver-and-white striped barrel made from cellulose acetate
.  The cap, section, and cone are high-grade white resin.  It is tastefully accented palladium-coated trim.
Fitted to the cap is the iconic Pelikan clip, stylized after a pelican's bill.
Fine nib is 14K rhodium-coated gold, with a threaded design for easy changing.  The Pelikan mother-and-baby finial completes it.  Piston-fill mechanism.  Made in Germany.
Note:  Barrel resin is opaque and does not reveal the ink level.
