    Description

    Welcome!
This beautiful very old Navajo ring was impeccably designed with excellent detail. It is a high quality piece with decorative wire work and raindrops and hand twisted wire framing the bezel set natural probably Blue Gem Turquoise stone. It was stored for decades and is in fabulous condition, though it has a nice age patina. The shank is chisel split into three toward the face for stability so the ring doesn't turn on the finger. It's also incised nicely. There is one age hairline in the turquoise, which is typical for old natural Blue Gem Turquoise like this. It doesn't endanger the integrity of the ring. The size is 6 and the face size is 1-1/4" by 5/8" with a weight of 5.4 grams. It's unmarked for silver content but tests at least coin silver. It is in fine vintage, wearable and collectible condition. One picture suggests there might be one hairline but I don't see it. If it's there it is minor and no danger to the integritiy of the piece.  If it is there it is part of normal aging with natural stones. It is not signed by artist which is typical for its age but the quality is very fine so you will see it was made by a very excellent silver smith. It has the most satisfying aesthetic appeal.
