Handmade polished stone smidge pot. Like every native American listing that I have posted my mother took extreme care of these items and the condition is pristine most of the pieces are Canadian mohawk as she was very familiar with the members of this tribe and met with them several times a year as they traveled through Virginia. A smudge pot is used with sage and other aromatic wood bark grasses several different things that had spiritual value and it was used to capture spirits in the deep bowl this bowl still has some of the original sage and wood mixture.
