In the bottom of the seventh, Tyler Webb was on the mound for the Cardinals. Aristides Aquino popped out to Kolten Wong. Jose Garcia singled. Shogo Akiyama then came to bat. On the second pitch, WEBB HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw a 90.4 mph four-seam fastball, and AKIYAMA FOULED OFF THIS BALL!! This ball was then retired. Akiyama eventually grounded into a fielder’s choice. Curt Casali singled to Tyler O’Neill. Tucker Barnhart walked, but Brian Goodwin struck out to end the inning.
