    Description

MLB Authenticated - Nicholas Castellanos vs Nick Wittgren Game-Used Baseball. Shipped USPS Priority.
On April 17, 2021, the Cleveland Indians visited the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. Triston McKenzie started for Cleveland, while Sonny Gray went for the Reds. In the bottom of the seventh, Nick Wittgren took the mound. Jesse Winker led off with a double to Franmil Reyes. Nicholas Castellanos then walked to the plate. WITTGREN HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw an 83.2 mph slider for a ball. (Yes, that means Austin Hedges also touched this ball!!) Wittgren came back with another slider, and CASTELLANOS FOULED OFF THIS BALL!! This ball was then retired. Castellanos eventually struck out. The Reds got hits from Winker, Castellanos, Joey Votto, Tyler Naquin, Tucker Barnhart, and Tyler Stephenson and went on to win 3-2, tying the game in the bottom of the ninth and winning in extra innings. This ball is MLB Authenticated for both pitches from Wittgren to Castellanos, including Castellanos’s foul. Please note that this ball does not come with a case. Thank you for purchasing!!
