    Description

MLB Authenticated - Nats Championship Season - Victor Robles vs Edgar Garcia. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. On July 12, 2019, the Washington Nationals visited the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. Stephen Strasburg started for the Nats, while Nick Pivetta went for the Phillies. The Nationals won 4-0 behind hits by Trea Turner, Adam Eaton, Anthony Rendon, Ryan Zimmerman, Brian Dozier, Kurt Suzuki, and Victor Robles. (Juan Soto went hitless.) In the top of the eighth, Robles came to bat against Edgar Garcia. With the count 1-0, GARCIA HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw a 94.9 mph four-seam fastball for a ball. He followed that with a 95.5 mph! four-seamer that ROBLES SWUNG AT AND MISSED. Andrew Knapp blocked the pitch. This ball was then retired. Robles eventually flew out to Jay Bruce. This ball is MLB Authenticated for both pitches from Garcia to Robles. Of course, 2019 was the year that the Nationals won the World Series, so this ball was small part of the Nats’ history that season! Please note that this ball does not come with a case. Thank you for purchasing!!
