    Description

MLB Authenticated - Lorenzo Cain vs Aaron Nola Game-Used Baseball. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. On May 13, 2019, the Milwaukee Brewers visited the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. Aaron Nola started for the Phillies, while Freddy Peralta went for the Brewers. Lorenzo Cain led off the game. After fouling off the second pitch, the count was 1-1. NOLA HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw a 79.6 mph knuckle curve for a called strike. (Yes, that means JT Realmuto also touched this ball!!) Nola followed that with a 91.9 mph four-seamer for a ball. On the next pitch, Nola threw another knuckle curve, and CAIN FOULED OFF THIS BALL!! This ball was then retired. Cain subsequently doubled off the top of the CF wall. Christian Yelich then drove in Cain with another double off the wall. Mike Moustakas popped out to Cesar Hernandez. Yasmani Grandal tripled in Yelich, and the Brewers started the game up 2-0. But the Phillies eventually clawed back to win 7-4 with hits by Andrew McCutchen, Jean Segura, Rhys Hoskins, Realmuto, Hernandez, Odubel Herrera, and Maikel Franco. (Only Bryce Harper went hitless among the starters.) Cain would end the night with five hits, tying a career record. Moustakas also drove in his 500th career RBI in the game. This ball is MLB Authenticated for all three pitches from Nola to Cain, including Cain’s foul. Please note that this ball does not come with a case. Thank you for purchasing!!
