    Description

MLB Authenticated - Jacob Stallings 1B To Eugenio Suarez Off Anthony DeSclafani. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. On September 14, 2020, the Pittsburgh Pirates visited the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park for a doubleheader. In Game 2, Anthony DeSclafani started for the Reds, while Mitch Keller went for the Pirates. Heading into the top of the second, the Pirates led 1-0 off a Colin Moran double to Shogo Akiyama that scored Adam Frazier. Bryan Reynolds led off the second with a single to Joey Votto. DeSclafani then struck out Gregory Polanco and Kevin Newman. Jacob Stallings walked to the plate. DeSclafani threw the third pitch in the dirt. On the fourth pitch, DESCLAFANI HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw a 95.4 mph four-seam fastball for called strike, making the count 2-2. (Yes, that means Curt Casali touched this ball too!) On the next pitch, DeSclafani threw a 95 mph sinker, and STALLINGS SMACKED THIS BALL TO EUGENIO SUAREZ FOR A SINGLE!! This ball was then retired. DeSclafani then struck out Erik Gonzalez to end the half inning. The Pirates got hits from Frazier, Ke’Bryan Hayes, Moran, Josh Bell, Reynolds, Newman, and, of course, Stallings but ended up losing the game 9-4. This ball is MLB Authenticated for Stallings’s single off DeSclafani. Please note that this ball does not come with a case. Thank you for purchasing!!
