He threw a 93.7 mph four-seam fastball, and PERALTA DROVE THIS BALL OPPO TO JESSE WINKER FOR A SINGLE, SCORING YOUNG EASILY AND THEN MATHISEN, WHO SNUCK UNDER TUCKER BARNHART’S TAG FOR A PLAY AT THE PLATE!! (Yes, that means Barnhart also touched this ball!! I can’t tell from the replay whether Alex Blandino or Eugenio Suarez was the cutoff, but one of them also touched this ball!!) This ball was then retired. Carson Kelly walked. Eduardo Escobar walked (for an RBI!). Nick Ahmed popped out to Suarez. Rojas ended the half inning by striking out.
