    Description

MLB Authenticated - Anthony Rendon RBI DOUBLE scoring David Fletcher and Mike Trout - Albert Pujols Passes Willie Mays on Career HR List Game. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. On September 18, 2020, the Texas Rangers visited the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Jimmy Herget started for the Rangers, while Jaime Barria went for the Angels. In the bottom of the sixth inning, Albert Pujols crushed his 661st career home run off Wes Benjamin, surpassing Willie Mays on the all time home run list. Pujols would hit his 662nd home run in the bottom of the seventh off Demarcus Evans. In the bottom of the eighth, Rafael Montero was on the mound for the Rangers. Andrelton Simmons grounded out to Isiah Kiner-Falefa. David Fletcher walked. Jared Walsh lined out to Joey Gallo. Mike Trout doubled to Eli White in LF. With two on and two out, Anthony Rendon — Tony Two Bags! — stepped to the plate. With the count 0-2, MONTERO HELD THIS BALL IN HIS HAND!! He threw a 97 mph! four-seamer for a ball. (Yes, that means Sam Huff also touched this ball!) Montero threw another 97 mph four seamer, and RENDON TORCHED THIS BALL 368 FEET TO CF, WHERE LEODY TAVERAS GRABBED IT BUT NOT BEFORE RENDON HAD A DOUBLE, SCORING FLETCHER AND TROUT!! (The game replay shows that Taveras threw this ball to Nick Solak, although to be clear, the ball is not authenticated as being touched by Solak.) This ball was then retired. Pujols grounded out to end the inning. The Angels went on to win 6-2. This ball is MLB Authenticated for Rendon’s double — his 10th of the season — to Taveras, scoring Fletcher and Trout. Please note that this ball does not come with a case. Thank you for purchasing!!
