JULIETTE transistor radio AM/FM multi-band Topp Electronics beat-up FPR-1274a
This is a previously-owned, portable, dual-power, black AM/FM transistor radio (model #FPR-1274a). Manufactured by Juliette / Topp Electronics in the late 1960s, it requires batteries for operation (not included). It includes the plug-in power cord, but it has been snipped, unfortunately, and will need repaired for use. We are basically selling this as a “fixer-upper” or for parts. Of note, it does feature the schematic in the back (see picture)...
Juliette was a brand name of the Naigai Electric Industry Company in Japan. The sets were imported by Topp Electronics in Miami. The models were sold in drug-stores and grocery stores, as well as in catalog showrooms like Ellman's, W. Bell & Co., and the late Service Merchandise.
