Up for bid is a game used baseball hit for a Single by Juan Soto on October 30, 2019 during World Series Game 7 at Minute Maid Park. This was the FIRST hit of the game! Juan singled on a sharp line drive to right fielder Josh Reddick. After the single, Howie Kendrick grounded into a double play. Zack Greinke fielded the ball and made a phenomenal Gold Glove play. He threw to second baseman Jose Altuve who relayed the ball to first baseman Yuli Gurriel! After the double play, Asdrubel Cabrera fouled the ball. The baseball was thrown for 8 pitches to 3 batters! This very baseball almost lasted the entire inning!
The baseball includes the RARE 2019 World Series Commemorative Logo.
In this game, the Nationals beat out the Astros to win the World Series. This was the first World Series in Nationals Franchise History! This was a unique series where the visiting team won each game!
The baseball was removed from play and authenticated by Major League Baseball.
The MLB authentication record is shown and can be found in the online database.
