    Description

Up for auction is a game-used baseball that was pitched by San Diego Padres pitcher, Joe Musgrove during the April 9th, 2021 game against the Texas Rangers where Musgrove became the first pitcher in Padres franchise history to pitch a NO-HITTER !!  This baseball was thrown by Musgrove in the bottom of the 1st inning to Rangers' superstar, Joey Gallo who fouled off the pitch.
This is an incredible artifact in MLB history and San Diego Padres franchise history.
This baseball was then taken out of play after the foul ball and authenticated by Major League Baseball under its authentication program designed to preserve memorable artifacts from the game.  An authenticator placed a numbered, tamper-proof Major League Baseball authentication hologram on the baseball.  The details of the baseball and its game use are logged on the MLB authentication website.  For security purposes, the hologram has been blurred in the auction photo but please see the screen capture from the MLB authentication program website also attached to view the details.
This is a wonderful piece of memorabilia that will only appreciate in value with time.   There are very few opportunities to add a baseball pitched during a NO-HITTER by the pitcher making history to your collection so don't miss out!!
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks and Good Luck!
