Description
Welcome!I'm offering for your consideration a great Navajo bracelet consisting of three hand stamped buttons which are deeply incised and the center one has a stone set in the center in the form of a round turquoise stone or turquoise colored glass stone. These three buttons are set upon two wires rounded on top and which widen the center and taper at the terminals. This is a lightweight bracelet, very comfortable, which is 20/16" (2.38 cm) in the center, tapering to 1/4" (.64 cm) at the terminals. The internal length of the silver alone is 5" (12.7 cm), 1-1/8" (2.86 cm) gap, which is flexible, for a total of tot 6-1/8" (20.56 cm). The weight of the piece is 17 grams. This is an older piece. It looks like a clear turquoise stone in the center but I think it might be glass. Hubbell glass is highly collectible but I have no way of knowing if this is Hubbell glass, though I believe it is. I do know it's a great looking piece and the contrast between the dark patina and the color of the stone makes the stone look wonderful. This is not a signed piece, which is usual for the older pieces and it's not marked for silver content either which is also expected in a piece of this age, but tests as sterling silver. Very wearable and very collectible. Condition is excellent vintage, wearable and collectible.
