For sale is a truly unique collectable from the Boston Red Sox @ Toronto Bluejays game in Toronto on April 9, 2016, won by the Red Sox, 8-4.
This specific ball was hit by Boston 2B and former MVP Dustin Pedroia for his 1486th career hit- a single. This ball was the first of 3 hits for Pedroia on the day- he would finish 3/5 with a run and 2rbis.  The ball was pitched by Toronto starter & former Cy Young winner RA Dickey in the top of the 1st inning.
*This ball is a 40th Anniversary Toronto Bluejays commemorative baseball, used by the Jays in home games in 2016 ONLY.  Please have a look at the closeup of the commemorative logo.
Authenticated balls such as this are sent mid-game to sale to the public, and are sold by the team.
