WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT IT: a stunning hair ornament which is all hand made and won a first prize in the Navajo Nation Arts & Crafts Fair in 1983. This is a highly collectible and very beautiful piece made with felt, and I think suede, and red white and black beads of various sized. I believe the beadwork represents the wedding basket. It is wonderful to wear. The pictures display how it works. It is flexible and wonderful.
CONDITION: excellent vintage wearable and collectible.
MEASUREMENTS:
• entire length of ornament 5.5"
• weight 73.52grams
• stick with beads hanging c. 6"
• not signed by the artist which is usual for those times; there isn't a pace on it for a signature but the blue ribbon accompanying it has the artist's name and the judges' names.
SUMMARY: a gorgeous Navajo hand made fabulous hair ornament with brown felt and suede an red white and black beads with very very fine workmanship which won a first price at Navajo Fair in 1983. Blue ribbon is included. Truly a superb collectible which you can wear. Wearable art at its best.

I generally ship same day. Domestic: FREE expedited US shipping. I’m including insurance on all my shipments till the PO resumes full functionality.
International buyers pay actual shipping cost if I’m shipping myself rather than using eBay’s Global Shipping service, and International buyers are responsible for any customs fees their own countries may apply. Please discuss changing shipping method prior to purchase. My shipping defaults to Express International, which is tracked and insured, but I can use Priority Mail International. It's less expensive and is also tracked. First Class International is no longer offered by the US Postal Service. I charge the actual shipping cost and since shipping to each country costs a different amount, I will charge a little extra and refund the exact difference once I can put your address in and print a shipping label. I am no longer shipping to Italy and China, but can make exceptions if you speak with me about it, especially if you are a prior customer.
Returns will be accepted for 30 days after your receipt for any reason and without question. Please let me know if you would like to return something. Returns must be in the same condition they were shipped. If I make a significant mistake in a listing I'll always give you a full refund.
