Art Poster Storage Rack Wood. Condition is New.
This is an Art Storage rack that I designed and my father is making in his workshop. This is being handmade per order. Usually 1-2 days for natural and up to a week if stained or painted. Please know that the staining and painting are completed as ordered and require sanding and multiple coats.
This rack has a base where the art sits, that measures (33.5" x 6.5").
The racks dimensions are 34" x 34" x 24"
Please see how I am using it to display posters that I wanted to be seen and not stored in a portfolio.
The piece will be shipped unassembled and I will email you the word file instructions for assembly. We have so far sold 4 and all customers are happy.
- Backstory, I wanted something to display my concert posters that I have been storing for years. I had this idea for many years. My dad is very good with making things, and has all the machinery and tools to complete. He is a retired engineer. So he made one (the first one is the black one used for some pictures). Maybe we will make more items. But here's a good start.

All wood pieces used for tables are naturally and environmentally sourced by the Sawmill I go to. As the wood comes from a living tree, there is a moisture content which has to be reduced over time. This starts by air drying each board for a certain time frame until it is low enough to be kiln dried which speeds up the process in a controlled environment like an over. This also kills 99.9% of any living bugs that live inside the wood as all wood is natural. It is very rare but sometimes bugs will survive this process and decide to leave the wood at a later time due to no more food content in the wood as well as how wood is finished for example Danish oil on a table. These bugs will never enter dried or finished wood so your home will be absolutely safe from any damage. The wood is also dried to stop the wood moving which is when cracks or splits would appear. If you put an air dried piece of wood in your home and put the heating on regularly, the wood would dry out too quickly resulting in movement.
