    Description

    Antique  Knights of Pythias sword with original scabbard and chain.  It dates back to the late 1800s 1900.  The maker on the blade is the Henderson ames co.  Sword length is 36 and the blade 28 inches and 5 inches wide at the guard.  The sword handle is wrapped metal wire.  The sword handle, guard and pommel are tight and solid.  The sword is old with ware and use.  The blade is clean and clear both sides there is wear and age marks loss of finish due to age. On one side is the name D. R. Alpaugh.  The scabbard is clean of rust with typical wear marks and loss of finish.
