1970 Wooden Wichita River Festival Centennial Coin

$ 1.58

Availability: 100 in stock

Description

The Wichita Centennial was the first year a Wichita River Festival was held.  There was no River Festival in 1971 but an annual celebration was started in 1972 and continues today as the Wichita Riverfest.  Because of the relationship of the Centennial to the River Festival, most Riverfest button collectors also collect the Centennial Coins.  There were four different Centennial coins issued - - Bronze/Copper, Silver, Gold-tone and Wooden.  This is the Wooden version.  The coin is in excellent condition as shown in the pictures.  Free local pickup is available.  I will combine shipping with other purchases.
